Getting started
What is Dentist Book?
Dentist Book is an app for dentists that replaces the paper notepad and the appointment book. It holds your calendar, a record for each patient, treatment plans, prescriptions, clinical images, generated documents and the money against each patient — on your phone and tablet.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone, iPad and iPod touch running iOS 15 or later, and it is compatible with Apple Vision. On Android it is available through Google Play. It is one app with the same features on both platforms.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The Free plan gives you appointments, services, results and up to 100 patients, with no time limit and no card required. Paid plans add more and start with a 7-day free trial.
What languages is it available in?
42, and the app follows your device language. This website is available in the same 42.
Using the app
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. Your data lives in the cloud, so signing in on another device gives you the same calendar and records.
How fast is it with a poor connection?
Records you have opened recently are cached on the device, so moving around the app does not wait on the network for everything. Adding new data and syncing between devices does need a connection.
Can I attach X-rays and clinical photographs?
Yes, on the Pro plan. Images are stored against the patient they belong to, and X-rays can be filtered by the teeth they show.
Can I give a patient a prescription or a treatment plan on paper?
Yes. Dentist Book generates PDF documents from what is already in the record — including signed prescriptions — which you can print or send the way you share any file.
Does it handle several dentists in one practice?
Dentist Book is built around a single practitioner's records. If you need a multi-user setup, write to info@dentistbook.app and describe how your practice is organised — it helps decide what gets built next.
Data, billing and support
Where is my data stored?
In the cloud, under your account, with a copy cached on the devices you use. What is collected and how it is handled is set out in the privacy policy.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete your account from Settings inside the app. If you would rather have it done for you, write to info@dentistbook.app from the address on the account.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Through your subscription settings in the App Store or Google Play, whichever you subscribed with. The paid features stay available until the end of the period you have paid for.
Something is broken, or I need a feature that isn't there.
Write to info@dentistbook.app. Dentist Book is built by a small team, so a clear description of what you were doing and what happened tends to get a real answer rather than a ticket number.
